Paula Bunyan, aka Dee Drozd, followed the old mindset of going to college and landing a corporate job. Inspired by her own journey as a recovering corporate minion, Dee writes with the intention to shape children's mindsets about careers at an early age. Through her books, she encourages young readers to consider skilled trades and other empowering professions, fostering independence and resilience beyond the confines of large corporations.
With a passion for nature and a heart for community, Dee has embraced a diverse range of interests and hobbies while being a corporate survivor. As a Nebraska Master Naturalist, Dee dedicates her time to tracking the elusive spotted skunk, fostering a connection with the environment. Additionally, she serves as a board member for a student exchange program, enriching young minds through cultural exchange as a Host Mom. An avid animal lover, Dee is known as the spoiler of all dogs and animals. She is always ready to lend a helping hand to both furry friends and neighbors alike – often unintentionally starting a lawn-mowing spree that knows no bounds on her block.
Alongside her in-process writing for a skilled trades series for children, Dee is also working on a candid book that offers the uncensored version of Organizational Behavior 101, adding a splash of realism to the academic discourse on the topic.
